Obituary for Thomas H. Peckham

Thomas H. Peckham, 66, South Beloit, IL, died at 2:10 p.m., Wednesday, May 16, 2018 in Beloit Memorial Hospital.

Born January 19, 1952 in Beloit, WI, the son of William R. Peckham and JoAnn (O'Neil) Spear. Graduated from South Beloit High School and attended Rockford Vocational where he learned his Tool and Die craftsmanship and was employed by Do It Tool and Die in Beloit, WI for over 10 years. Married the former Linda D. Taylor in Rockford on August 19, 1970. He enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, was a Green Bay Packer and Chicago Cubs fan. He was a supporter of local baseball and softball teams.

Survivors include son Mike (Valerie) Peckham; daughter Paula (Matthew Olson) Peckham; grandchildren Raymond “RJ” Jentz III and Jordan Jentz, Breanna, Brendon and Noah Seif and Brooklyn and Riley Peckham; great grandchildren Charolette Thomas and Oliver Smith; mother JoAnn Spear; sisters Lynn Harrington, Dawn (Terry) Hoffman, Sue Wright and Denise Becker; brother Charlie Peckham and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, wife, daughter Rebekah and son Jason.

Graveside ceremonies will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 25, 2018 in Rockton Township Cemetery, 600 West Street, Rockton, IL. Cremation rites were accorded.
