Loretta F. Klus, 92, Rockford, Illinois, died Sunday, October 18, 2009 in Wesley Willows. \r\r\n\r\r\n Born August 22, 1917 in Saukville, Wisconsin, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dominick and Genovefa (Entstrasser) Stadler. Married Edward Klus in Chicago, Illinois on October 8, 1938. She was employed by Grove Inn in Northbrook, Illinois for over 40 years. Member of St. Bernadette’s Catholic Church. \r\r\n\r\r\n Survivors include sons, Edward (Ginny Cole) Klus, Union, Kentucky and James (Jean) Klus, Durand, Illinois; grandchildren, David, Anthony, Nancy, Susan and Brian; six great grandchildren; sister, Rosella Bach, Port Washington, Wisconsin and brother, Fons (Vicky) Stadler, California. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and eight brothers and sisters. \r\r\n\r\r\n Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 23, 2009 in St. Mary Catholic Church, 602 West Main, Durand, Illinois with Msgr. Thomas Monahan officiating with prayers to be recited at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Friday morning. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery and Mausoleum, Des Plaines, Illinois at 2:45 p.m. Friday. Visitation will be held at McCorkle Funeral Home 101 Main Street, Durand, Illinois from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, October 22 with a scripture service to be held at 7:00 p.m.
