Loretta I. Crawford, 79, Davis, Illinois, died at 10:15 a.m., Sunday, January 18, 2015 in Rockford Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.\r\r\n\r\r\n Born May 15, 1935, in Centerville, Iowa, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl B. and Cordelia M. (Cline) Adams. Graduated from Seymore High School, Class of 1953 and attended Northern IL University. Married Dale I. Crawford in Kirkland, Illinois on May 19, 1957. She and Dale farmed for many years. She was a midwife for pigs, domestic engineer, chef, seamstress and a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of New England Grange, Stephenson County Antique Engine Club, Sycamore Steam Power Club, NW IL John Deere Two Cylinder Club, Old Thresher Club, Stephenson County Farm Bureau, Durand American Legion Auxiliary and a former member of Central Christian Church in Rockford.\r\r\n\r\r\n Survivors include, husband, Dale; daughters, Chrystle “Candy” (Gil) Feinstein, Sheila (Dan) McCarthy, Ruth (Spencer) Yeoman; son, Andy (Sandy) Crawford; eight grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Earline Belle and great grandson Brandon Lee LeGault.\r\r\n\r\r\n Funeral Ceremonies will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 22, 2015 in McCorkle Funeral Home-Durand Chapel, 101 Main Street, Durand, Illinois. Burial will be in Flora Cemetery, Belvidere, Illinois. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4:00-7:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 21.\r\r\n\r\r\n A memorial will be established.
