Lois G. Fannan, 91, Pecatonica, Illinois, died at 11:55 a.m., Thursday, November 12, 2009 in Cor Mariae in Rockford, Illinois after a brief illness. \r\r\n\r\r\n Born December 23, 1917 in Pecatonica, Illinois, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Judson and Iola (Segurd) Bouton. She married Kenneth S. Fannan in Dubuque, Iowa on April 29, 1939. He died November 17, 1989. Lois worked in Pecatonica making piano benches and at Willwood Burial Park making grave blankets. She was baptized in the Methodist Church. She attended Pecatonica High School. \r\r\n\r\r\n Survivors include-daughters, Dixie (John) Lichtenberg and Charlotte Sell both of Rockford, Illinois; son Robert (LeAnn) Fannan, Peoria, Arizona; 15 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Mickey, son-in-law Jim Sell, three brothers-Jay, Warren, Robert and one sister, Dorothy Foree. \r\r\n\r\r\n Funeral ceremonies will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 17, 2009 in McCorkle Funeral Home 203 West 5th St. Pecatonica, Illinois with Reverend David Meding of Central Christian Church, Beloit, Wisconsin officiating. Burial will be in Twelve Mile Grove Cemetery, Pecatonica, Illinois. A visitation will be held Monday, November 16, 2009 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
