John W. Clark, 79 of Davis, IL died at 12:15 pm. Friday June 3, 2011 in Provena Cor Mariae after a short illness. \r\r\n\r\r\n Born August 16, 1931 in Albany, WI, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert and Florence (Nolty) Clark. Married to Doris E. Brick in Davis, IL on August 10, 1957. He was employed as a machinist by Barber Colman Co. for 43 years. He proudly served in the U.S. Army in Germany and France. A member of Janesville Moose and former member of the Davis Fire Dept. He looked forward to dancing and especially going to polka fests. \r\r\n\r\r\n Survivors include: wife Doris Clark of Davis, IL; Daughters Jonna (Andrew) Lamm of Rock City, IL and DoRinda White of Orfordville, WI. Grandchildren Matthew and Timothy Lamm; Sarah Kleindl, Reid White. Sister Rosalie Leopold of Juda, WI; Brothers Robert (Ramona) Clark Jr. and Forrest Clark both of Davis, IL; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents and sister Hasel Wilson. \r\r\n\r\r\n Funeral ceremonies to be held at 10:30 am Tuesday June 7, 2011 in First Congregational Community Church 10780 3rd. Street in Roscoe, IL. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Brodhead, WI. A visitation will be held at McCorkle Funeral Home 101 Main St Durand, IL from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Monday. A memorial is being established.
