Gilbert Taylor Stoll, 94, Sun City, AZ, died at 12:15 a.m., Friday, March 2, 2108 in Sun City, AZ after a short illness.\r\n\r\nBorn August 23, 1923 in Monroe, WI, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur and Raine Mae Stoll. He lived 35 years in Sun City, AZ, coming here from Durand, IL. He married the former Mavis Jean Mac Dougall in Winnebago, IL on June 26, 1948. They divorced in 1971. He was employed as a set-up man at Atwood’s Mobile Products for 35 years. Veteran of WWII serving in the US Army Medical. He was a member of the Methodist Church. He was a Durand Village Board member in the mid 1970’s and coached various Durand Little League Baseball teams. He attended Durand Public Schools. \r\n\r\nSurvivors include sons Gene (Paulette) Stoll, Byron, IL and Kelly (Ruth) Stoll, Rushville, IL; grandchildren Jason (Devin) Stoll, Byron, IL, Stephanie (Jason) Hayward, Davis Junction, IL, Emily (Shawn) Greenwaldt, Davis Junction, IL and Scott (Mandy) Stoll, Rushville, IL; great grandchildren Alex and Blake Hayward, Davis Junction, IL and Emersyn, Makenzie and Madeline Stoll, Rushville, IL; sister Lois Adelman, Sun City, AZ and numerous nieces and nephews.\r\n\r\nFinal resting place will be in Durand Township Cemetery. Cremation rites were accorded.
