Cynthia “Cindy” Jean Blackwell, 59, Beloit, Wisconsin, died at 1:50 am, Friday, December 12, 2014 in Agrace Hospice Care in Madison, Wisconsin after a short illness.\r\r\n\r\r\n She was born July 19, 1955 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, the daughter of Mr. Donald Blackwell and Margaret (nee Wiles) Wilson. She married Randy Nimmer and then married Mike Horne in Rockton, Illinois in 1977. For 25 years Gene Balis has been Cindy’s special friend. Cindy was employed as an assembler by Bournes in Janesville, Wisconsin. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the nurses and staff at Agrace Hospice Care and St Mary's Hospital for all the tender loving care given to mom.\r\r\n\r\r\n Survivors include special friend Gene Balis, Beloit, Wisconsin; son, Bronson (AnnDee) Nimmer, Shirland, Illinois; daughter, Leigh (Matt) Hoekstra, Suamico, Wisconsin; sons, Jim Horne, Mosinee, Wisconsin and Tim (Finacee Raquel Tiffany) Horne, Rockton, Illinois; grandchildren Boston, Dylan, Brooklynn, Alexis, Jayde; mother, Margaret Wilson, Oshkosh, Wisconsin; sisters, Sandy (Dale Lee) Blackwell and Vickie O’Neill; brothers, Tim (Julie) Blackwell, Scott (Deanna) Wilson, Donn Blackwell; sister, Kelly Blackwell and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, step father Carroll Wilson, sister and brother-in-law Beth and Bill Wara. \r\r\n\r\r\n Memorial ceremonies will be held at 12:00 pm, Saturday, December 20, 2014 in McCorkle Funeral Home – Rockton Chapel, 767 N Blackhawk Blvd, Rockton, Illinois with Pastors Ben and Ginger Carter of Life Church Assembly of God, Roscoe, Illinois officiating. Cremations Rites to be Accorded. Final Resting place will be Rockton Township Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 am to time of ceremony on Saturday.
