Charles H. Coleman, 80, Roscoe, Illinois, died at 9:00 a.m., Sunday, June 30, 2013 in his home surrounded by his family. \r\r\n\r\r\n He was born December 7, 1932 in Highland Park, Illinois, the son of Mr. and Mrs. William C. and Mary R. (Hart) Coleman. He graduated from Highland Park High School. Veteran of the Korean Conflict, having served in the U.S. Army. Married the former Lucille C. Carani in Highland Park, Illinois on May 17, 1958. Member of Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church in Beloit, Wisconsin; the Moose Club of Highland Park and the Knights of Columbus. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the dedicated members of the Harlem-Roscoe Fire Department, Heartland Hospice and his special nurse Barb Reedy of Able Home Health Care for all their compassionate and tender loving care given to Dad. \r\r\n\r\r\n Survivors include daughter, Patricia (Jim) Myers, Roscoe, Illinois; son, William (Katheleen) Coleman, Rockton, Illinois; grandchildren, Katherine (Stephen) Schultz, Amy Myers, William R. Coleman and Elizabeth Coleman and one great grandchild on the way. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and six infants. \r\r\n\r\r\n Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 8, 2013 in Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church 2222 Shopiere Rd, Beloit, Wisconsin, with Fr William Nolan officiating. Burial will be in Pinnacle Hill Cemetery, Roscoe, Illinois. A visitation will be held in McCorkle Funeral Home – Rockton Chapel, 767 N Blackhawk Blvd. Rockton, Illinois from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, July 7. A memorial is being established.
