Anne E. Francik, 86 of Roscoe, Illinois, died on Saturday, December 3, 2011 in Cleveland, Ohio. \r\r\n\r\r\n Born May 18, 1925 in Whiting, Indiana, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph and Anna (Wagner) Kasper. She married Carl J. Francik in Whiting, Indiana on July 15, 1944. She was employed in the credit and catalog department by J.C. Penney for 20 years. Member of St. Peter Catholic Church in South Beloit, Illinois, where she was involved in the church committees, choir and Altar and Rosary. She was also a member of Jednota. She graduated from Whiting High School, Class of 1943. Anne’s passion was her family. She enjoyed raising her seven children and then spending time with each of her grandchildren. \r\r\n\r\r\n She loved being a mother and grandmother to her surviving family: sons Carl A. (Elody) Francik, Mark D. (Karen) Francik, Paul C. (Michong) Francik, John M. (Giacomina) Francik and Tom D. (Trudi) Francik; daughter Annette (Edward) Taroli; son Joel C. (Beth) Francik; 27 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; sister Mary Kapitan and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Joseph, three brothers Joseph, John, Paul and a sister Margaret. \r\r\n\r\r\n Funeral Mass to be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 9, 2011 in St. Peter Catholic Church 620 Blackhawk Blvd. South Beloit, Illinois with Fr. Nicholas Federspeil officiating. Burial will be in Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville, Indiana. A visitation will be held at McCorkle Funeral Home 767 N Blackhawk Blvd Rockton, Illinois from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, December 8, with a rosary recited at 7:30 pm.
