Sally Jo Cuthbertson Obituary (1939 - 2011)

Sally Jo Cuthbertson, 72, Durand, Illinois, died at 5:45 p.m., Sunday, July 31, 2011 in UW Hospital, Madison, Wisconsin after a lengthy illness. Born March 19, 1939 in Rockford, Illinois, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles and Dorothy (Whisman) Tracy. Married Richard Cuthbertson in Rockford, Illinois on December 23, 1966. She was the Men’s Bowling League secretary for many years and also helped the American Legion as often as she could. Sally graduated from Durand High School, Class of 1957. Survivors include husband, Richard Cuthbertson, Durand, Illinois; daughter Bobbie (Steve)Eisen, Durand, Illinois; son Chuck (Debbie) Cuthbertson, Machesney Park, Illinois; granddaughter Courtni Fedie; sisters, Shirley Tracy, South Beloit, Illinois, Barbara Smith, Rockford, Illinois and Susan (Ed) Warren, Rogers, Arkansas and brother Gary Tracy. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister. Funeral Ceremonies will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 4, 2011 in McCorkle Funeral Home, 101 Main Street, Durand, Illinois with Neil Dreier officiating. Burial will be in Durand Cemetery, Durand, Illinois. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until time of service Thursday. A memorial will be established.
