Patricia "Tricia" Cox Obituary (1963 - 2020)

Patricia “Trisha” M. Cox, 56, of South Beloit, IL died at 11:26 p.m., Monday, January 6, 2020 in her home. Born March 6, 1963 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald and Antonette (Olsofka) Krerowicz. She married Johnny D. Cox Sr. in Chicago, IL on June 11, 1979. Trisha painted football helmets for Ridell Football before working for Jewel and then Party City. She attended St. Hedwig Catholic Church. Survivors include husband Johnny D. Cox Sr.; daughter Christina (Grant) Martin; son Johnny D. Cox Jr.; daughter Tiffany (Kevin Marose) Cox; grandchildren Kara and Kaitlyn Billings, Landon Martin, Sally Cox, Johnny D. Cox III and Hailey Marose; mother Antonette Krerowicz; sister Philomena (Terry) Brady and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her two brothers Donald “Butchie” Krerowicz Jr. and Anthony Krerowicz. A funeral ceremony will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, January 10, 2020 at McCorkle Funeral Home- Rockton Chapel, 767 N. Blackhawk Blvd, Rockton, IL with Pastor Dan Herman of Old Stone Church officiating. Cremation Rites to be Accorded. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. till time of service, Friday. A memorial has been established to the South Beloit Fire and Ambulance department, 429 Gardner St South Beloit, IL 61080.
