Matthew J. Ungaro Obituary (1961 - 2015)

Matthew J. Ungaro, 54, Roscoe, Illinois, died at 9:17 a.m., Wednesday, December 2, 2015 in Swedish American Hospital after a long illness. Born June 7, 1961 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph and Gladys (Asbra) Ungaro. Graduated from St. Timothy Grammar School and Gordon Tech. Survivors include sister Susan Ungaro, Roscoe, Illinois; brother Thomas (Lauren) Ungaro, Brookfield, Illinois; nieces and nephews Steven (Rachel) Ungaro, Anthony Ungaro, Patrick, Elizabeth and Shannon Ungaro and close friends The Rozek Family. He will be remembered as Santa by many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, nephew Shane and close friend Ron Rozek. Visitation will be held at McCorkle Funeral Home, 767 N Blackhawk Blvd, Rockton, Illinois from 3:00 -7:00 p.m., Sunday, December 6, with a scripture service to be held at 6:30 p.m. Final resting place will be in Mt. Carmel/Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Cremation rites will be accorded.
