Marilynn E. Hergert Obituary (1937 - 2012)

Marilynn E. Hergert, 75, of Rockton, Illinois died at 11:30 p.m., Thursday, July 5, 2012 in Rockford Memorial Hospital after a short illness. Born February 20, 1937 in Beloit, Wisconsin to Mr. and Mrs. Russell B. and Eleanore M (Stockment) Hebb. Lived 45 years in Rockton, coming here from Beloit, Wisconsin. She married Richard E. Hergert in Beloit, Wisconsin on February 1, 1958. She was a member of First Congregational Church of Beloit, Wisconsin, Macktown Women’s Golf League and Women’s Bowling League at Viking Lanes. She owned Needle Craft Nook at the Wagon Wheel. She enjoyed spending time with her seven grandsons. She is survived by her husband Richard of Rockton; son Rick (Fran) Hergert of Rockton; daughter Tami Verstraete of Machesney Park; son Rodger (Deena) Hergert of Rockford; grandsons Brandon, Travis (Amy), Preston Hergert, Ryan Drager and Nicholas Verstraete and Tyler and Zachary Hergert; Aunt Donna Hebb of Beloit, Wisconsin and sister-in-law Bernie Hebb of Janesville, Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by her parents, infant daughter Susan, brother Russell S. Hebb and numerous aunts and uncles. Per Marilynn’s request, no ceremonies will be held.
