Margaret (Peggy Bebee) Kathryne Johnson Obituary (1941 - 2012)

Margaret “Peggy Bebee” Kathryne Johnson, 71 of South Beloit, Illinois died at 11:45 p.m., Friday, March 16, 2012in Fair Oaks Nursing Center after a brief illness. Born March 1, 1941 in Beloit, Wisconsin, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Argie and Arlene (Danburg) Johns. Married to Karl Johnson in Beloit, Wisconsin April 7, 1990. She was employed for many years as a cook by Beloit Health and Rehab Center. Member of Rock Valley Chapel. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, bowling, country music and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to Beloit Regional Hospice, the nurses of Beloit Memorial Hospital and Fair Oaks Nursing Center for their tender and compassionate care given to mom. Survivors include: daughter Kim “Bebee” (Kevin Bishop) Kalson of Janesville, WI; son Montgomery (Wendy) Bebee of Las Vagas, NV; daughter Crystal (Denise Welch) Bebee of South Beloit, IL; grandchild Mandy (Marshall Barnes) Sly of Beloit, WI; two great grandchildren Brandon Sly and Mia Barnes and several step children and step grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister Judith Marie. Memorial ceremonies to be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, March 24, 2012 in Rock Valley Chapel 2780 Shoppiere Road Beloit, WI with Pastor Tim Johnson officiating. Cremation Rites to be accorded. Final resting place to be in Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens . A visitation will be held at the church from 11:00 a.m. until time of ceremony on Saturday. McCorkle Funeral Home, 767 N Blackhawk Blvd, Rockton, Illinois assisted the family.
