Lou Daniels Obituary (1939 - 2020)

Lou Ann Daniels passed away in her home with caring family by her side on February 18, 2020 at 4:02 p.m. in Beloit, WI. Lou Ann was born on April 16, 1939 in Beloit, WI to the parents of Mr. Cecil A. Reynolds and Mrs. Az (Robinson) Reynolds. Lou Ann grew up in Beloit, WI. She then moved on to marry Kenneth H. Daniels in November 1982 in Warrens, WI where she was a homemaker, housekeeper, waitress and an advocate for cooking. They then shortly after moved to Tomah, WI for 24 loving years before moving back to Beloit, WI in 1995. Lou Ann was well known for her spunky, loving yet kind hearted soul who cherished God to the fullest and she thrived on surrounding herself with people that felt the same way about God that she did. She is survived by her daughter from a previous marriage, Rhonda (Doug) Hallmark; grandchildren Nicolas (Kelsey) Olvera, Tara Olvera and Karla Olvera; her 6 great grandchildren; one deceased great granddaughter Olivia Olvera; sister Lynn Everson of Minneapolis; Marlene Meade; brothers John Webley and Bill Reynolds, and the many nieces and nephews along with all the LOVING friends and family that she had made at the apartment complex where she truly felt like the friends that she made where more like family than just friends! Lou Ann is also survived by her very loving four-legged child (cat) Spencer Tracy. Our family would love to send a special thank you to the Beloit Regional Hospice for all the care and kindness that you gave to Lou Ann Daniels through the final days of her life. Cremation Rites were Accorded. McCorkle Funeral Home- Rockton Chapel, 767 N. Blackhawk Blvd, assisted the family. Grandma's favorite poems; “ I’ve reached the end of the trail at last And oh it is peaceful here With the valley of live so far below And the gates of heaven so near. The road is steep and straight and long That my weary feet have trod But it brought me safe to this hill to rest And tomorrow I meet my God. The last great river I’ve safely crossed My sins are washes away The cross that I bore so many miles At his feet I lay.
