LeRoy Francis Teasdale Obituary (1935 - 2015)

LeRoy Francis Teasdale, 79 of Shirland, IL died at 4:00 pm Saturday January 24, 2015 in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 1, 1935 in Shullsburg, Wisconsin the son of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard and Minerva (Wedig) Teasdale. He married Wanda G. Gross in Darlington, Wisconsin on June 9, 1956. LeRoy worked as a service tech for Wausau, Inc. retiring in 2000. He was a volunteer fireman for the Shirland Fire District; enjoyed fishing, hunting, card playing and woodworking. Survivors include: wife Wanda; daughter Karen (Jeff) Simpson; son John (Terri) Teasdale; daughter Paula Teasdale; sons Steven and Christopher Teasdale; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; 6 brothers and sisters; numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by parents; great granddaughter Allison. Private family ceremonies to be held at a later date. Cremation Rites to be accorded
