Kevin Douglas Johnson, 59 of Rockton, IL died at 1:50 pm Saturday March 14, 2015 in University of Wisconsin Hospital after a brief illness. He was born July 15, 1955 in Rockford IL son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert and Jane (Hoskins) Johnson. He married Debra L. Kiser in Rockford, IL on February 5, 2010. He was employed as maintenance mechanic by ECOLAB for 32 years. Enjoyed fishing with his grandchildren by the race. Survivors include wife Debra; son Douglas Johnson all of Rockton, IL; son Jared Johnson; daughter Lindsey Johnson all of Chicago, IL; extended family Josh (Jen) Gallagher of Poplar Grove, IL; Amanda (Dan) Fluegel of South Beloit, IL; grandchildren Jack, Jayden, Colton, Aidan, Addison, Landon; mother Jane Johnson; brother Jeff (Karen) Johnson all of Byron, IL; sisters Karen Garner, Idaho and Renee (John) Wolfe, Iowa and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father. Funeral ceremony to be held at 11:00 am Friday March 20, 2015 in McCorkle Funeral Home – Rockton Chapel 767 N. Blackhawk Blvd. Rockton, IL with Pastor Megan Smick of Rockton United Methodist Church officiating. Burial in Rockton Township Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 am until time of funeral Friday.
