June E. Hausvick Obituary (1919 - 2014)

June E. Hausvick, 95, of Rockton, Illinois died peacefully at 6:40 pm, Saturday, December 13, 2014 in her home. She was born June 8, 1919 in Rockford, Illinois, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis and Helen (Roeske) Flanders. June graduated from Rockford Central, Class of 1937. She married Melvin A Hausvick in Rockford, Illinois on September 20, 1942. She ran the Durand Bowl for 16 years. She was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. Survivors include: son Kenneth (Jean) Hausvick of South Beloit, Illinois; daughter Karen (Darran) Landenberger of Rockton, Illinois; daughter-in-law, Terri Hausvick, Roscoe, Illinois; three grandchildren, two great grandchildren; sister Jeanette Englehardt of Belmont, California and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Dennis, brothers John and James Flanders. Funeral ceremonies to be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, December 18, 2014 in McCorkle Funeral Home – Rockton Chapel 767 N Blackhawk Blvd Rockton, Illinois with Pastor Doug Johnson of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in Willwood Burial Park in Rockford, Illinois. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Wednesday.
