Gary Allen Larrow, Sr. Obituary (1945 - 2015)

Gary Allen Larrow, Sr. 69 of Pecatonica, IL died at 5:50 pm Thursday August 6, 2015 in Rockford Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born December 11, 1945 in McConnell, IL the son of Mr. and Mrs. Homer and Ruth (Stoltz) Larrow. Gary married Darlene C. Bowers in Freeport, IL on February 22, 1969. He worked at Twin Disc, PCI, Rockford Mass Transit and Vangalder Bus Company retiring in 2011. He enjoyed volunteering with Troop 1 BSA and was a 36 year volunteer with the Pecatonica Fire Protection District. Survivors include wife Darlene Larrow; sons Gary (Jennifer) Larrow, Jr., Mark (Ramona) Larrow, Benjamin (Jamie) Larrow, Jeremy (Jeri) Larrow; 6 grandchildren; 2 sisters Jean Homan and Gary’s twin sister Mary Pacek; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents, grandson Nicholas, sister Winifred Stewart. Funeral ceremonies at 11:00 am Tuesday August 11, 2015 in McCorkle Funeral Home – Countryman Chapel 529 Washington St Pecatonica with Pastor Katie Voigt of Pecatonica United Methodist Church officiating. Cremation Rites to be Accorded with final resting place to be Twelve Mile Grove Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday.
