Dustin J. (Dusty) Boyce Obituary (1979 - 2015)

Dustin J. “Dusty” Boyce, 36 of Rockton, Illinois, died Monday, May 4, 2015 in his home after a sudden illness. He was born February 19, 1979 in Rockford, Illinois, the son of John Boyce and Linda (Jake) nee Weber Jacob. Dusty graduated from Hononegah High School, Class of 1998; he also played on the football team and wrestled. He married Christina M. Trevino in Poplar Grove, Illinois on September 21, 2014. He was employed as Vice President by Fantasy Limousine for four years. He enjoyed football, hunting and comic books. Survivors include wife: Christina Boyce; daughter Amelia; son Benjamin; mother and father Linda and Stephen “Jake” Jacob all of Rockton, Illinois; father John Boyce of Surprise, Arizona; sisters: Stefanie (Jason) Wallace of Capron, Illinois, Ashlee (Grant Abel) Messer of Rockton, Illinois and Stacy (Michael) Runyard, Mesa, Arizona; paternal grandmother Mabel Perry of Marmaduke, Arkansas; five nieces and nephews and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral ceremonies will be held at 1:30 pm, Sunday, May 10, 2015 in McCorkle Funeral Home – Rockton Chapel, 767 N. Blackhawk Blvd Rockton, Illinois with Reverend Bryan Saladino officiating. Burial will be in Rockton Township Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Saturday, May 9.
