Chrystle Feinstein Obituary (1952 - 2022)

Chrystle "Candy" Feinstein, 69, of Davis, IL passed Friday, January 21, 2022 after a lengthy illness at SSM Monroe Hospital. She was born December 9, 1952 in Rochelle IL, the daughter of Dale Crawford and Myrna Hurlbut. Candy graduated from Bristol Tennessee High School in 1970. Candy married Gilbert "Gib" Feinstein on July 13, 1984 in Las Vegas, NV. Candy was very involved with her community- David Village Board, Davis Town and Country, Davis FD Auxiliary and the Alzheimers Association. She was an avid baker and loved making goodies to share with all. She also loved plants, reading and playing Bingo. Candy redesigned the Veterans Memorial in Davis and also received the Prestigious Points of Light Award for her extensive work with the Alzheimers Association. Candy has two boys D. Ray (Erin) Caswell, John (Jennifer) Caswell and a step daughter Marilyn (Brian) Painter; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters Michelle Reiners, Ruth Yeoman and Sheila (Dan) McCarthy; brother Andrew (Sandy) Crawford and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents Dale and Loretta Crawford and Myrna Heartline and husband Gilbert Feinstein. Cremation Rites to be Accorded. A memorial ceremony will be held at a later date.
