Charlene E. Hooker Obituary (1966 - 2009)

Charlene E. Hooker, 43 of South Beloit, IL died Sunday June 7, 2009 in Swedish American Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born January 1, 1966 in O”Latha, Kansas, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles and Ellen (Smotherman) Crank. Married to Robert A. Hoooker in Kingston, Illinois on July 30, 1988. Charlene was employed by Walmart in Rockton, Illinois. Survivors include sons Chris ( Miranda) Hooker, Nathan Hooker and Zach Hooker all of South Beloit, Illinois; three grandchildren Makenzy, Charlie and Randy; parents Charles and Ellen Crank; sisters Vickie (Tom) Dailey, Beverly (Ralph) Atkinson and Karen (Dan) Dold all of Genoa, Illinois and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband. Funeral ceremonies will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 10, 2009 in McCorkle Funeral Home 767 N Blackhawk Blvd Rockton, Illinois with Reverend Russell Barber of The Church of the Kings Mansion officiating. Burial in Shirland Township Cemetery in Shirland, Illinois. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral Wednesday.
