Betty M. Cicmansky Obituary (1933 - 2011)

Betty M. Cicmansky, 78, Rockton, Illinois, died at 9:07 a.m., Tuesday, May 10, 2011 in Beloit Memorial Hospital after a sudden illness. Born January 13, 1933 in Windber, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph and Mary (Patrick) Delorie. Married Daniel P. Cicmansky in Windber, Pennsylvania on May 10, 1952 and they would have celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary. Moved to Rockton in 1983, coming here from New Jersey. Member of St. Peter Catholic Church, South Beloit, Illinois and she attended chapel every Tuesday. Graduated from Windber High School, Class of 1950. Survivors include husband, Daniel Cicmansky, Rockton, Illinois; sons Daniel J. (Heidi) Cicmansky, Janesville, Wisconsin and Robert M. (Theresa) Cicmansky, Rockton, Illinois; grandchildren Daniel E., Ava E. and Brianna N. and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and 11 brothers and sisters. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 16, 2011 in St. Peter Catholic Church, 620 Blackhawk Blvd, South Beloit, Illinois with Fr. Nicholas Federspeil, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Rockton Township Cemetery, 600 West Street, Rockton, Illinois. Visitation will be held at McCorkle Funeral Home, 767 N Blackhawk Blvd, Rockton, Illinois from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, May 15 with a scripture service to be held at 4:30.
