Andrew 'Andy' Fitzpatrick Obituary (1939 - 2016)

Andrew “Andy” Fitzpatrick, 76, of South Beloit, Illinois, died at 7:17 a.m., Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Born October 16, 1939 in Paisley, Scotland to Sarah and Daniel Fitzpatrick. Married the former Edna Mitchell in 1961 in Scotland. Andy immigrated to the United States in 1966. He worked for Ingersoll Milling Machine Company for 34 years as a service technician. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Edna Fitzpatrick, South Beloit, Illinois; daughters, Alison (Bill) Wintrode and Elaine (Timothy) Pedersen; grandson, Derek (Jessica) Sneed; granddaughters, Oliva (Spenser)Higgs, Catherine Sneed and Megan Wintrode. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings Daniel Fitzpatrick, Robert Fitzpatrick and Sarah Thompson. Memorial ceremonies will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 27, 2016 in McCorkle Funeral Home-Rockton Chapel, 767 N Blackhawk Blvd, Rockton, Illinois with Pastor Dan Herman, Old Stone Church, Rockton, Illinois officiating.
