Agnes Virginia Kramar Obituary (1930 - 2015)

Agnes Virginia Kramar, 85, of Durand, Illinois died Monday, December 28, 2015 in Medina Manor in Durand. Born December 28, 1930 in Stitzer, Wisconsin, the daughter of John and Mary Bennett. She married Elwood Kramar on June 21, 1952 and he died August 23, 2014. She worked as a telephone operator at Beloit Telephone Company prior to her marriage. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church for 47 years, St. Anne’s CCW and St. Elizabeth’s. Survivors include her children, Mike (Karin) Kramar, Machesney Park, Illinois, Ray Kramar, Durand, Illinois, Mary Bechthold, Stillwater, Minnesota, Roger (Nancy) Kramar, Durand, Illinois, Brian Kramar, Belvidere, Illinois, Dan Kramar, Durand, Illinois, Agnes Meier, Fitchburg, Wisconsin; grandchildren Tim (Natasha) Kramar, Erin (Dave) Hickman, Katie Kramar, Jake Kramar, Jennifer Kramar, Kurt Kramar, Darcy (Phil) Fleagle, Sara Kramar, Joe Kramar, Kelsy Kramar, John Meier, Samantha Meier and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Mary Bennett, husband Elwood, son Jim, sister’s Marie, Marjorie and Kathryn and brother’s Charles and Herbert. Funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, January 4, 2016 in St. Mary Catholic Church, 602 West Main Street, Durand, Illinois with prayers to be recited at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. A visitation will be held at McCorkle Funeral Home-Durand Chapel, 101 Main Street, Durand, Illinois from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m., Sunday, January 3, 2016 with a scripture service to be held at 4:30 p.m. Burial will be in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Durand, Illinois Memorials may be given to St. Mary Catholic Church, Durand, Illinois.
