Sally Ann Andrews Obituary (1939 - 2016)

Sally Ann Andrews, 77, Roscoe, IL died at 9:00 a.m., Monday, August 29, 2016 in her home surrounded by her family. Born May 26, 1939 in Loves Park, IL the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ford and Fern (Ollman) Andrews. She was a life-long resident of the Roscoe area and attended school in the Roscoe school district. Sally was a member of First Congregational Church, Roscoe, IL and the VFW Auxiliary. She was a champion marble player in the first grade, was an avid Chicago Bears and Cubs fan and enjoyed outdoor gardening and yardwork. Survivors include brothers Bud (Ruth Ann) Andrews and Raymond Andrews, both of Rockton, IL; sister Diana Andrews, Roscoe, IL and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Art Andrews. Funeral ceremonies will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 6, 2016 in McCorkle Funeral Home-Rockton Chapel, 767 N Blackhawk Blvd, Rockton, IL with Reverend Lisa Abb, of First Congregational Community Church, Roscoe, IL officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until time of ceremony Tuesday. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Machesney Park, IL.
