Obituary for Phyllis A. Schultz

Phyllis A. Schultz, 67, of Roscoe, IL died at 4:52 a.m. Wednesday August 9, 2017 in her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born September 2, 1949 in Rockford, IL the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Newton and Constance (Truitt) Wood. Phyllis graduated from Hononegah High School the class of 1967. She married Gary Lee Schultz in Rockton, IL on April 20, 1968. She worked in the cafeteria at Kinnikinnick Grade School in Roscoe, IL; as an assembler for Hydroline in Machesney Park, IL; and as a receiving dispatcher for Bergner Distribution. Member of the Royal Order of the Moose Lodge in Beloit, WI.
Survivors include daughter Stacie (Tim) Hudson of Beloit, WI; son Chad (Tracie Houghton) Schultz of Rockton, IL; grandchildren Makenzie Hudson; Isaac and Ella Schultz; numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents,husband, son Gary Newton Schultz and one infant brother.
Funeral ceremonies to be held at 11:00 am Monday August 14, 2017 in McCorkle Funeral Home – Rockton Chapel 767 N. Blackhawk Blvd. Rockton, IL with Reverend Dan Herman of the Old Stone Church officiating. Burial will be in Roscoe Township Cemetery.
A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 am until time of ceremony on Monday. A memorial will be established.
