Obituary for Margaret J. Lee

Margaret J. “Peggy” Lee 76, of Lake Summerset, IL died at 10:35 a.m., Friday, November 10, 2017 in Serenity Hospice House in Oregon IL, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born September 17, 1941 in Dekalb, IL the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald R. and Margaret H. (Lang) Harris. Peggy graduated from Stillman High School.She was a life long realtor in Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin. Operated Cross Country Builders in Brodhead, WI.

Survivors include daughters: Theresa (Richard) Fritz, Tonya (Randall) Kaczmarzyk and Staci (John) Pierce; grandchildren Brittany (Doug) Keyes-Elfstrom, Cameron (Lisa) Wills, Drew (Ancil) Philip, Katarina and Zachary Kaczmarzyk; great granddaughter Caroline Elfstrom; life partner Gene Spickler; sister Donna (Thomas) Murphy; newphews Donald (Teresa) Murphy, Thomas (Rebecca) Murphy and loving dog Pebbles. She is predeceased by her parents.

A Funeral Cremony will be held at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 15, 2017 in McCorkle Funeral Home – Durand Chapel, 101 Main St., Durand, IL. A visitation will be held for 5:00 pm to time of ceremony Wednesday.

Final resting place to be Big Mound Cemetery in Davis Junction, IL.

Memorials may be given in Peggy’s name to Serenity Hospice and Home 1658 IL-2 Oregon, IL 61061.
