Obituary for Dolores J. Johnson

Dolores J. Johnson, 88, of Pecatoncia, IL died at 4:10 pm Saturday January 28, 2017 in Wesley Willows.

She was born October 20, 1928 the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John and Madge (Denny) Chadwick. Graduated from Pecatonica High School in the class of 1947. Married to Marvin D. Johnson in Pecatonica, IL at the First Congregational Church. She worked at A and P Store, Clover Farm, Markum Meat Market and retired in 1996 from Eickman’s Processing. She was member of First Congregational Church, Order of the Eastern Star Isabel Charter #322.

Survivors include sons Daniel (Susan) Johnson of Rockford, IL; Dean Johnson of Stillman Valley, IL; daughter Colleen (David) Remmers of Pecatonica, IL; grandchildren Lindsey (Michael) Kromm, Ryan (Erica) Johnson, Stephanie (Mitch) Farris, Sherri (Jeff) Kalmer, Sarah (Craig) Burmeister, Suzanne (Trevor) Deck, Cassandra Cox, Brian (Megan) Cox; 10 great grandchildren; daughter in law Susan Johnson of Rockford, IL. She is predeceased by her parents, husband, 1 sister and 1 brother.

A funeral ceremony will be held at 11:00 am Friday February 3, 2017 in First Congregational Church 633 Reed St. Pecaonica, IL with Reverend Duane Hoffman officiating. Burial will be in Twelve Mile Grove Cemetery.

A visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 am until time of ceremony.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to First Congregation Church.
