Charley Cagle, Jr. Obituary (1940 - 2016)

Charley Cagle, Jr., 76 of Loves Park, IL died at 3:22 pm Monday December 26, 2016 in OSF St. Anthony Medical Center surround by his family after a long illness. Born August 1, 1940 in Lawrence County, Arkansas the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charley Cagle Sr. and Mable Henderson. Lived over 50 years in Rockford, IL area. He married the former Barbara Stupec in Rockford, IL on November 20, 1971. He owned and operated Auto Connections for 30 years. Veteran of the Vietnam War serving State side in the U. S. Army. Survivors include wife Barbara; daughter Melissa (Mike) Engelkes; grandson Shawn (Hannah) Engelkes; granddaughter Madison Engelkes; great granddaughters Charlie and Ava Engelkes; daughter Kathy (Charles) Fitzgerald. Predeceased by parents and sister Bobbie. A funeral ceremony to be held at 11:00 am Friday December 30, 2016 in McCorkle Funeral Home – Durand Chapel 101 Main St Durand, IL with Reverend Kirby Miracle of Beverly Park Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Durand Township Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 am until time of funeral Friday.
