Obituary for Carl J. Kasper

Carl J. Kasper, 69, Lake Summerset, IL died at 1:30 a.m., Thursday, September 21, 2017 in RML Specialty Hospital in Hinsdale, IL after a courageous battle with his health.

Born September 15, 1948 in Chicago, IL, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin and Stella (Ziolkowski) Kasper. Graduated from Morton East High School, Class of 1966. Married the former Debbie A. (Fairbanks) Petitti in Brookfield, IL on August 9, 1998. He was employed as a dispatcher and warranties claim manager at Hyster Company in Bellwood, IL and Hyundai in Elk Grove Village, IL and then owned and operated Lube Pros in Carol Stream, retiring in 2007. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Durand, IL.

Survivors include his wife Debbie Kasper; nephews Chad and Doug (Maria) Stauber; niece Chrissy Stauber; step children Nicholas and Matthew (Maggie) Petitti; one step grandchild Michael Logan Petitti; brother Michael Kasper and brother-in-law Larry Stauber. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Cecilia.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, September 26, 2017 in St. Mary Catholic Church, 602 West Main Street, Durand, IL. Visitation will be held at McCorkle Funeral Home, 101 W Main Street, Durand, IL from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 26, 2017. Final resting place will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, IL. Cremation rites will be accorded.
