Obituary for Barbara H. Estes

Barbara H. Estes, 75, of Durand, IL, died peacefully at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 14, 2017, in her home.
Born July 5, 1941 in Lone Rock, WI, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph and Laura (Haas) Fischer. Graduated from Rockford West High School, Class of 1959. She married Lloyd V. Estes in Rockford, IL on September 12, 1959. Barbara retired as a hearing technician from TK Hearing Conservation Group in Rockford, IL. She was a member of Faith Community Church in Davis, IL and Jolly 31 Club.
Survivors include daughters Sherrie (Mark) Benoit of Somonauk, IL, Barbara Loofbourrow of Prairie du Chien, WI and Lisa (Joe) Buck of Davis, IL; grandchildren David, Lucas, Cal, Hannah, Emilie, Kassi, Kari, Rachel and Ashley; great grandchildren Jayce, Alison and Mason; sisters Elaine (Charles) Keen, Lorriane Grell and Lilly (Jim) Anderson; brother Louie Fischer and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Lloyd, brothers Frank, Harold and John Fischer, sisters Lucy Estes and Dorothy Larson.
Funeral ceremonies will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Faith Community Church, 212 W Mc Kimmy St, Davis, IL, with Pastor Bob Kolb officiating. Burial will be in Laona Township Cemetery, Durand, IL. A visitation will be held at the church from 12:00 p.m. until time of ceremonies Saturday.
A memorial will be established.
